This Fashion’s review

• Startup page has too many things
  -should start with a big “This Fashion” poster with an option of click to enter site
• The table borders are visible, no point to put borders since the colors in the table is similar to the background.
• There are more than2 typefaces = chaos
• The event/promotion of them is not visible enough. I didn’t even notice it by first glance.
• They didn’t bolden/darken the important keywords.
• Their fonts are very light, similar value to the background. Hard to see.
• Their paragraph’s tittle is lighter than the words in the paragraph! Terrible!

• What is browser-safe color palette/web safe colors?

It is a palette of colors that contains less light and dark colors, heavy on saturated colors and low on muted colors.

• Is it still relevent in today’s context? why?

No it is not relevent today because as technology advances we have 256 color computer system which can support heavy colors.

• What are the common fonts face found on PC & Mac?

Arial,arial black,comic sans MS,courier new,georgia,impact,lucida console,lucida sans unicode,palatino linotype,tahoma,times new roman,trehuchet ms,verdana, symbol,wingdings,ms sans serif.

• What is page loading time and how it influence your design?

The more things such as flash in your webpage, it will slow down the page loading time as it will have to load these flash before u can see it.

• The long essay?

I thought webdesign process is easy whereby you just script it in and be done with it. but after reading the article my mindset changed. the process of webdesign is difficult and tough.you have to go through so many steps before you can get a good website up. that is no wonder why some big companies pay big bucks to hire very good web designers to design their website which will allow their customers to visit their webpage with ease and not frustration. process such as doing thumbnail surprieses me because i didn’t think that thumbnailing is needed in web design. however i think that once the site is up, it will be so much easier to  add new feathers and fix the bugs. i also think planning is very important for webdesign as its quite troublesome to find the error in the scripts. overall i learnt alot yay. (actually 150 words.)

5.What is a good website ? Answer: Simple, Easy to browse, no Flash stuff.
